Every version, what changed and whether it changes the trades. Updates are delivered through the MQL5 Market.

Version 1.00

Initial release. Release date: set on publication on the MQL5 Market.

  • Two strategies: a multi-timeframe trend strategy (Strategy 1) and the New York opening range breakout (Strategy 2), sharing one position.
  • Instrument profiles: MNQ (default), NQ, and NAS100 CFD (in testing).
  • Trading windows and the trading day defined in New York time, with automatic handling of US and European daylight saving changes.
  • Automatic detection of the broker's clock, with manual options (UTC, GMT+2/+3, Fixed) and a daily check of the computer's clock.
  • Stops and targets in index points; volume and money values from the symbol's tick value.
  • Free margin check before every order (at most 95% of free margin), with clear messages when an order is reduced or skipped.
  • Manages only its own positions, by magic number. Netting and hedging accounts.
  • Daily profit target and pause after three winning trades, counting only its own trades.
  • Optional prop firm limits: maximum daily loss and minimum equity; when reached, the program closes its own positions and stops trading.
  • Close 5 minutes before the daily CME halt and before early closes. Built-in CME early-close calendar through 2027, plus an early close detected from the broker's session times.
  • Status panel on the chart and plain English messages in the journal.

Update policy

  • Critical bugs are fixed free of charge.
  • The CME early-close calendar is updated every December for the following year.
  • Each entry says whether a change can change the trades, and if so, the backtest is run again and the results page is updated.
